It is very important to take care of our hair just like our skin during summer, which can be easily done with ayurvedic herbs and packs.

Just as our body and skin need nourishment, similarly the hair too needs nourishment. Hence we need to pamper our hair to keep them healthy, silky, lustrous and strong and it is pretty easy with ayurvedic herbs.There many natural Ayurvedic packs that you can make them yourself and use it to attain healthy hair. 5 Hair packs for Summer

  1. Amla Shikakai and Henna Pack Mix
    100 gm. henna, 20 gm. amla powder and 20 gm. shikakai powder with water and soak it overnight. Apply it to the scalp from the roots to the tip of hair uniformly and let it stay on for an hour. Rinse hair with warm water and pat dry. You can see soft shiny hair which gives a beautiful look and boosts your self-esteem. This pack keeps your scalp clean, free from dirt. It also nourishes and strengthens the hair follicles, prevents dryness, hair fall and damage to the hair.
  2. Fenugreek Seeds and Hibiscus Flower/leaf Pack
    Take 100 gm. fenugreek seeds soak them overnight. Now take a hibiscus flower and 23 leaves place it in the mixer jar along with fenugreek seeds. Grind them well till you get a paste like consistency. The paste should applied over the scalp and hair till the tip of your hair, allow it to stay on your hair for 30 minutes. Later wash thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. This pack nourishes the hair and wards off dryness and dullness making the hair bouncy, shiny and healthy.
  3. Amla and Bhringraj Hair Pack
    Amla and Bhringraj pack can be prepared fresh by crushing amla and bhringraj leaves. The paste obtained should be applied all over the scalp and hair and kept for about an hour. Then the hair should be washed with warm water and dried. This pack strengthens the hair follicles, prevents premature ageing, baldness and moistens the hair giving it a silky and shining appearance.
  4. Aloe Vera Hair Pack
    Scoop out the Aloe Vera pulp from the Aloe Vera plant, wash it with water and apply it over the scalp and hair. Let the pack remain for 30 – 45 min, later rinse with warm water and pat dry. You can follow this every week and you can see the effect with shiny, silky and healthy hair.
  5. Ripened Banana Pack
    Take 12 ripe bananas depending on the length and volume of your hair, smash them add few drops of almond oil mix well and apply the paste to the scalp and hair till the tip. Leave the pack for an hour and rinse with warm water. Similarly you can mix honey and ripe banana to make a pack. This pack nourishes the hair and wards off dryness and split ends which is one of the big concerns amongst girls. This pack can be used weekly for good and healthy hair.
